A heavy fire erupted in a street in calabar south local govt area,the fire is said to have started in a locked family compound with just an old woman inside the house.
The sight was not a pleasant one as news gotten from the scene shows that property worth millions of naira was raved down by the fire.
Due to the quick intervention of the men of the fire service in the state the situation was brought down to its barest minimum.
