Conquering the pole position this week, the song granted Omarion his first ever number one as a lead artist and only his second in his solo career.
Back in 2005, he topped the chart as a featured artist on Bow Wow's "Let Me Hold You." In other words, O reigned supreme again 10 years later, which means he surpassed Mariah Carey's old record for longest break between number one peaks by over half of a year.
It took Mariah Carey nine years to claim spot #1 on the Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop airplay Chart for a second time with "We Belong Together," released in 2005, after she dropped her previous chart-topping single "Always Be My Baby" in 1996.
