A burgeoning leadership and governance development group joined members of the state chapter of the People's Democratic Party to welcome its  governorship candidate for the forthcoming general election back to the state after he had gone to receive his certificate of return from the National headquarters of the PDP. 
Senator Sandy Onor had on the 26th of May won the Gubernatorial Primaries of the PDP in a keenly contested election that saw him defeat other prominent Aspirants. 
The group which is led by a foremost leadership development expert Mr. John Etim-Bassey joined other political group to celebrate Sen. Sandy Onor’s victory and welcome him back to the state.
The Director General of the group, Mr. John Etim-Bassey described Sen Onor as  one of leaders with the qualities needed to unite and move cross River state beyond its present predicament of directionless governance. He stressed that  One Coalition will do its best in supporting Sen. Sandy Onor in becoming the next governor of Cross River state come May 2023. 
The group which have been in existence since 2018 as BlueCoalition recently rebranded into ONECoaltion  with a mandate to bring and unite purposeful and progressive leaders in bringing about the development of Visionary Leadership in Political Governance In Nigeria. 
The group assured the Distingiished Senator and the Peoples Democratic Party of its  willingness to help rid Nigeria and Cross River State of the APC and its nearly 8 years of Misrule and bad governance which brought untold hardship on the people of Nigeria.  
In his remarks Sen. Sandy Onor thanked the OneCoaltion for its support and reassured all party faithfuls and Cross Riverians that he is ready to take up the responsibility of Leading and restoring Cross River state to its lost glories.
He also made it clear that he is going to carry every stakeholder along in the Rebuilding the state 
Highlights at the event was cultural and band displays and goodwill messages by candidates and support groups of People's Democratic Party across the state.
