In a bid to build up unity, togetherness and cohesiveness towards 2023 General Elections in the 7 LGAs of the South, the All Progressive Congress (APC) Southern Senatorial Candidate, Mr Asuquo Ekpenyong yesterday met with Leadership and stakeholders of APC in Akamkpa Local Government Area. 

The primary concern of the consultative forum was to ensure that Akamkpa votes APC from top to bottom devoid of ethnic or language sentiments as orchestrated by some people to score cheap political goals.

The Akamkpa Stakeholders who overwhelmingly declared total support for all APC Candidates ranging from the Gubernatorial Candidate, Distinguished Sen Prince Bassey Edet Otu, Senate, Asuquo Ekpenyong, House of Reps, Onun Dr Emil Inyang and their two House of Assembly Candidates, Ntufam Okon Owuna and Hon Linus Bassey insisted that Akamkpa will not fall for any Political party except the ruling party in the State. 

The meeting witnessed 40 speakers selected from across the 10 Administrative Wards of Akamkpa. 

Major stakeholders of Akamkpa who attended the meeting were Ntufam John Okon, Hon George O'Ben Etchi, Rt Hon Charles Okon Ekpe, Rt Hon Asuquo Itaya, Mrs Titi Ndifon, Local Government Vice Chairman, Hon Mary Ndifon, Rt Hon Matthew Olory, Hon Charles Ikpeme, Hon Victor Okon, Ntufam Nyong Edet, Elder Effiom Olory, Edwin Amini and so many other major political stakeholders.
