The House of Representatives candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) For Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency, Barr. Godwin Offiono aka Goffio, yesterday, met with the 24-ward Chairmen of Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency to formally appreciate them for their support so far and to also intimate them of his work-plan ahead of the 2023 general elections.
Barr. Offiono appreciated their collective and individual efforts toward the success of the Party’s primary elections across the Federal Constituency most especially, his victory. He intimated them of his desire to provide an action plan which all chairmen will make input, to enhance seamless victory come 2023.
"After the Gubernatorial primary election, I thought it wise to stay back to appreciate you for your good job for our great party and to also discuss with you the need to keep working together for victory in 2023. There's no other time to start than now. I will continue to interact with you periodically, because it is our collective project. In my next coming, I will provide an action plan where all of you will make input and it will become our working document."- Goffio said.
While reacting, the Chairman of Wanihem ward and Chairman of Chairmen, Mr. Canice Ebiamu, commended Barr. Goffio for his thoughtfulness and leadership ideology. "You're the only aspirant, now candidate that has been meeting with ward chairmen and giving them sense of belonging. We'll continue to work with you and other leaders in making sure that PDP gets landmark victory in 2023. We appeal to you to inform the leadership about the plight of the ward Chairmen. We need to be empowered to be able to trickle down goodwill to our supporters at the grassroot, to make it easy for the party to win elections." - Canice told Barr. Offiono.
Barr. Offiono promised to convey their message to the leadership and will also do his best too to ameliorate their plight.
