Hon. Ela Ushie, the Otu Uchua 1 of Boki Kingdom(No 1 helper of the community) businessman, American trained Medical practitioner, Politician and philanthropist, a bona-fide son of the Soil, from Utugwang Community, Obudu LGA.
Ela Ushie, popularly nicknamed "Ela is Good", has written his name in Gold in the minds of his immediate community, the OBO federal Constituency at large and beyond through his services to humanity.
Elanuire Ericbona Eliom Ushie, has shown the world the content of his heart as regards the socio-economic growth of the masses by carrying out various projects out of his own volition.
Some of the Projects/schemes carried out by Chief Ela Ushie within Obudu/Obanliku/Bekwarra Federal Constituency Include;
-Establishment of Ela is Good Skills Acquisition Centres in Obudu, Obanliku and Bekwarra and Utugwang, LGAs each of which has trained not less than 500 constituents free of Charge in each LGA in computer engineering, barbing , fashion designing, Dstv installation, Soap making etc.

- Construction of Keting Bridge, Obanliku LGA following its collapse for over years.

Aside his immediate Constituency, he has touched the lives of many Cross Riverians, years ago, he constructed a 9km road for the people of Oku-Borum/Njua Kaku Community, Boki LGA which earned him the Chieftaincy title of OTU OCHUAB 1 (Number 1 helper of the Community).
Chief Ela Ushie has also sustained the party structure in the federal constituency by means of empowerment of Party Executives, Payment of rent for party secretariats amongst others.
Supporting Ela Ushie to represent the good People of Obudu/Obanliku/Bekwarra Federal Constituency in the 2023 general election, will be an easy ride for the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP), and the people are assured of quality representation at the Green Chamber.
