Earlier today, some constituents of Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency and Stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), paid a congratulatory visit to the PDP House of Representatives candidate for Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency, Barr. Godwin Offiono aka Goffio in his Abuja residence.
Present were the constituency officer to Distinguished Senator Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe, Senator representing Cross River North Senatorial District, Mr Egar Mgbantul, Director General of Goffio's Campaign Organization, Pastor Naku John, The PDP Ogoja LGA chapter chairman, Mr. Emma Odidi, Yala LGA National delegate, Sir Odey Joseph Onah aka Joe Mobutu, Former Ogoja LGA Council secretary, Hon. Aninege Jimmie , Mr. Sunday Ibol, PDP South-SouthZonal Auditor, Hon. Okwoche Timothy aka Obstacle, Hon. Joe Agabi Jacobs, and a host of others.
The August visit was to formally, congratulate Barr Offiono on his emergence as the PDP candidate for Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency, House of Representatives seat to fly the Party's flag in the 2023 General election.
Mr. Egar commended Goffio's efforts, humility, patience, and consistency, having being in the party for years and exercising patience to this moment to have earned the ticket to run election. He assured Goffio of their unalloyed support in the forthcoming 2023 election.
Pastor John Naku and others, also commended Goffio for his simplicity, easy going and accommodating lifestyle, and pledged their unwavering support to ensure victory in 2023.
Barr. Godwin Offiono welcomed and appreciated them for their visit to his aboard. Appreciating them for their support that culminated to victory during the primary election. He thanked them for their steadfastness, and dedication to PDP.
"Like I said before, I will not disappoint you if elected a house of Representatives member. I will hold the mandate truly in trust for you. We will remain friends as usual." Goffio reemphasised his willingness to produce an action plan where Stakeholders and his supporters will make input and it becomes a working document toward landslide PDP victory in 2023.
He further appreciated his visitors for their visit and encouragement.
