PRESS RELEASE: CHALIEBAZ CENSORED MADNEZS 3.0, THE FACTS

The Organizers of CHALIEBAZ CENSORED MADNEZS 3.0, wishes to apologise to our fans, sponsors, partners and believers of the brand on the unfortunate turn of event Yesterday, 22 May, 2022.

The FACTS;

1. One of The guest Artists for the event, OGA SABINUS, after confirming his availability for the event, received part payment of N1 Million from the Organizer after accepting to receive his balance of N1 Million on or before the show ends. 

2. OGA SABINUS, without any reason or prior notice to the Organizers, on the day of the show (Sunday), after flights and logistics arrangements had been made, refused to turn up for the event and HAS REFUSED TO MAKE ANY REFUND instead he has resolved to spreading Fake news to save his head.

3. The delay which occured on the day of the event which led to the truncating of the event, was due to a disagreement with the SOUND ENGINEER (ROCK SOUND) whose inititial aggreement was N100,000 (as a partner/sponsor).

4. Initial deposit of N50,000 was made to ROCK SOUND about 2 Months before the slated date of the event to the above initial aggreement. And to balance N50,000 during the course of the event.

5. Not until Tuesday, 17th May 2022 (5days to the event), We got a message from ROCK SOUND stating his sudden change to initial aggreement balance of N50,000  to N150,000 making it N200,000 against our initial aggreement.

6. Because it was already 5days to the event, we did’nt have any option but to agree to the change, which we already told him it’s out of budget. We paid him N50,000 balance of the Initial agreement of N100,000 before the event and pleaded with him to start up the event and we promised to pay him while the event was going on. He Insisted that  his full payment must be made before anything happens. At  the process of the event we were able to pay him extra N50,000 making it a total of N150,000 and we still pleaded he open the sound for the event to start while we balance him as the event goes on but he still stood his grounds for his balance at about 9:38pm over an event that was slated for 4pm. We made effort in paying another N26,000 to him, making it Total sum of N176,000 to balance N24,000 while the event is going on but he still said NO (at about 9:46pm).

7. The Organizers of the CHALIEBAZ CENSORED MADNEZS 3.0, hereby calls on Emmanuel Emmanuel Chukwuemeka (OGA SABINUS) AND  ROCK SOUND, to  come out and debunk this if it’s a lie.

It is worth to NOTE that, this year's edition was the third edition of the show, over the years the show has grown to be one of the biggest comedy shows in Southern Nigeria and we promise to continue giving our teeming Fans and supporters CENSORED MADNEZS and unlimited entertainment.
